Last night Finley hit the four pound mark and today she's up to 4 lbs 1 oz! She's eating over two ounces at each feeding and that volume has allowed her to finally start putting on a little bit of chub. She's big enough now that her doctor took her out of the isolette and into a little crib. Above is her first picture in her big girl crib! They'll watch her closely over the next day to see if she can maintain her temperature. I think she'll be fine because her isolette had been at the lowet possible temperature and she's been running a little warm for the past several days. Unfortunately she had a couple of A's and B's today so the five day countdown has started over...again. Her doctor said that it was nothing to be concerned about - she was just telling us she isn't quite ready to come home. Big sigh! Hopefully she'll be ready soon!
Also, a huge thank you to my wonderful parents who surprised Andrew and me with a new digital camera! So now my blog entries will have lots more pictures of my favorite subject :-)
