Like Father, Like Daughter
Baby Mama Group
My friend Lora organized a Baby Mama group for new moms and their, you guessed it, babies! We had a great time playing with all the kids, who ranged in age from 3 weeks to 6 months. It was wonderful to watch the kids smile at each other and roll around and it was just as great to get to bond/commiserate with other moms. Looking forward to our next get together in a few weeks!

Happy Half Birthday!
I think I jinxed myself bragging in the previous post that Finley was such a little poser for the camera because we sure couldn't get a good picture of our squirmy worm! On Friday, Finley turned six months old - it's hard to believe she's already that old! It seems like everyday she starts doing something new. This past week she started rolling over and now it seems like she can't stop. It's such fun watching her learn and discover new things!

Talking and Squawking
Finley had tubes put in her ears on Friday morning because she still had fluid behind both ear drums that was preventing her from having normal hearing and she was constantly getting ear infections. I think the tubes have already made a huge difference! She has been talking (really more like a high-pitched squawking) constantly and it's so cute!
Moose and Mouse
Andrew's cousin Maggie and her son Jase came to visit from Mississippi last weekend. It was the first time that Jase and Finley got to hang out and it was precious to watch them together. Jase was born at the very end of October so he's quite a few months younger than Finley but he weighs a couple of pounds more than Fin. Because of the size discrepancy, we nicknamed them Moose (Jase) and Mouse (Finley). Here are a few pictures from their visit:
