As the title states, Wednesday was Finley's three week birthday and on Thursday she is 34 weeks gestationally. Finley continues to do really well and we love every minute we get to spend with her. She's had a lot of changes and accomplishments this week, which include:
- she now weighs 2 lbs 12 oz and she looks bigger everyday
- Finley has started smiling! It's usually in response to being fed but we love to see each smile regardless of the cause.
- she weighs enough now that she doesn't have to have a body temperature monitor. She still has several other monitors but to get rid of one feels like such an accomplishment!
- she gets to start bottle feeding! We'll start off slowly with just one bottle feed a day, but hopefully those will go well and we'll progress from there.
- she gets to wear clothes! Even the preemie sized clothes are big on her, but she just looks precious in them! I'll post pictures of her in her outfits soon.
