Finley has taken to bottle feeding like the champ we know she is! The first day she was able to take half of the bottle and on day two she took 20 out of 25 ml! The nurse told us later that she would have been happy if Finley was able to take about 5 ml so we are feeling very proud of our little daughter!
I co-hosted a baby shower for a dear friend, Lora, today so Andrew had the opportunity to feed Finley all by himself. Finley and Daddy worked well together and Finley drank 24 ml! Her doctor told me that we'll probably start doing two bottle feedings per day soon! Also the doctor said based on how well Finley has done with bottle feeding, we may be looking at about four more weeks before she can come home! Of course that may change, but we're thinking positively!
