We had such a fun day! This morning was pretty chilly so Finley had the opportunity to wear her lamb coat and slippers, which was perfect for Halloween morning!
But by afternoon, it was in the eighties so we put Finley in her tennis player costume. This photo isn't great but it's the best one we have that really shows her costume.
Finley and Mama
Our neighborhood is a great 1950s area that is filled with families with young children. Here's Andrew and Fin before we started trick or treating.
The strollers and the dads - so cute!
Finley's first trick or treating experience and she wasn't sure what she was supposed to do...
...but she made a good choice (Snickers!) and got Dada's approval!
A shot of most of our trick or treating crew. In our group we had two dogs, a NASA astronaut, a bumblebee, a pumpkin, Super Woman and, of course, a tennis player.
Going up to another house
Our neighborhood sponsored a Trail of Frights, which were houses that signed up to be extra cool and creepy. It was so neat to see all the adults dressed up, houses decorated, and some of the houses had really cool prizes, like museum passes.
Mama and Fin had fun listening to music! One of the houses had a band playing in their backyard and the music was great. They also handed out hot chocolate while they were playing. All the kids loved that house and didn't want to leave!
The aforementioned band playing!
I loved how festive, fun and friendly our neighborhood is!
