This was the first year that Andrew and I got to host Thanksgiving at our house and we had such fun doing it! It really was a great day!

How small her cute little hands are!

With a LOT of help from my dad, Andrew successfully smoked the turkey this year

Franko and Papa deep in conversation
Matching in their burnt orange and white dress shirts, Papa and Andrew threw up their horns in preparation of the big game that night. We sure were glad to see the Longhorns beat the Aggies. Hook Em Horns!

Chef Franko turned over the fried oyster duties to Chef Andrew this year!
Getting directions on how to properly fry the oysters
One proud chef!
Finley definitely inherited her father's palette. She stole Mimi's fried oyster and ate the whole thing!
Sweet ole Rusty hoping for some handouts!
The feast with all the usual suspects - Mom's cornbread stuffing, cranberry salad, gravy, cheddar & rosemary biscuits, roasted carrots & parsnips, Ruthie's mashed potato casserole, oyster dressing and spinach madeline...
...and of course, the smoked turkey!
The happy hosts!
