We received the full amnio results this afternoon and got good news! Everything looked normal - so that rules out neural tube, genetic and chromosomal abnormalities, infections and viruses. Since she was measuring small for her gestational age, there still could be a problem, most likely with the placenta or umbilical cord. We have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow to check on our baby girl. I know I'll feel much relief getting to see her again and hear her heart beating. The rollercoaster ride continues, but we're so thankful for the good news we've gotten thus far - let's just hope it keeps on coming!
